INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
The Association participates in international forums in order to share the experiences and achievements of the world’s leading foundations with Spanish members and lay the foundation for collaboration in future projects.
Multilateral activities: In Europe, the Association collaborates with the European Foundation Centre, is a founding member of DAFNE and actively participates holding the presidency of the Steering Committee of DAFNE until June 2013.
DAFNE is a network with its own governance structure bringing together 22 donors and foundations networks from across Europe.
With a collective membership of over 6,000 foundations, DAFNE underpins the individual activities of its members by strengthening collaboration between the national associations. The secretariat of DAFNE is hosted by the European Foundation Centre
In Latin America, the Association is a member of the Council of the civil society and participates in the biannual meeting of civil society and this year will host , the XI Meeting of the Civil Society, which will take place in Madrid on the 15th and 16th of October.
Bilateral activities: The Association collaborates in the organization of the annual meetings of Spanish and Portuguese foundations and has a cooperation agreement with the Portuguese Foundation Centre.
